It is very good that we are a developing nation. We are developing at the fastest rate in the world, and for centuries it was our demand that on the world stage, India should make its identity as a prosperous nation. By 2020 India will be far ahead in the world from the point of view of development. Development is a continuous and slow process. Our approach to seeing scientific development is like this, that development means making life easier, much easier. We want development, want to know all the secrets of the world, want to know the secret of the universe, but at what cost. We are seeing all the natural changes coming along with development on earth. In every summer the temperature is increasing every year. Uncanny rain, natural calamities and every year the increase in temperature of the earth. All these incidents are not hidden from us, but we have neglected them.India’s forest cover has decreased by 367 sq. km in the last years with the maximum amount of forest cover disappearing from the northeast states and Andhra Pradesh. According to the Forest Survey of India (FSI) report 2011 a total of 867 sq. km was lost in 12 states and union territories (mainly the northeast),The matter is not just in India, but there is a reduction in forest areas of the entire world. If we talk differently than the documents, then we all know how many shortages have occurred in forest areas in the last 10-20 years. And we cannot deny that human development and our needs are responsible for this destruction. We can see the change in the weather. And now we cannot deny all these facts. Human intervention in nature is not right. We are not more powerful than nature. Save forest save life.
